Dash is an acronym for Diet Approaches to Stop Hypertension.
More specifically, eat a plant-focused diet with an emphasis on fruits, vegetables, whole grains and low-fat dairy products including poultry, fish and nuts.
This diet will help to lower your blood pressure, and, research has shown the DASH Diet over a period of time will reduce your likelihood of suffering from a stroke. And, by the way, some exercise like a walk two or three days a week will really “seal the deal” for a healthier life.
